Description:
The U.S. Department of Agriculture, Forest Service is seeking bids for the replacement of asphalt shingle roofs, blown insulation into attic, and all other work as required at the Stanley Admin Site Housing in the Sawtooth National Recreation Area. The project includes the demolition of existing roofs, construction of new cold roofs, and installation of new asphalt shingles. The contractor will be required to perform the work in accordance with the terms and conditions of the contract. Key aspects of the job include: • Demolition of existing asphalt shingles and associated materials • Construction of new cold roofs on Housing Units #9 and #11 • Installation of ice and water shield, counter and fixing battens, and new asphalt shingles • Replacement of damaged fascia boards and installation of new drip edge, vent pipe flashing, and ridge vent • Optional work at the 3BR house in the North Fork site includes demo and construction of a cold roof The project is expected to cost between $100,000 and $250,000 and must be completed by October 31, 2025.
