The South Fulton Community Improvement District (CID) is seeking proposals from firms or teams of firms experienced in freight and sustainable transportation planning to develop a freight cluster plan with a sustainability focus. The plan should include a review of infrastructure and commuting patterns, and create a districtwide strategy for improving workforce quality of life, reducing greenhouse gas emissions, and enhancing supply chain resilience. The project will involve tasks such as project management, stakeholder engagement, best practices review, inventory and assessment, and development of recommendations. The CID encourages meaningful Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) participation. Key aspects of the project include: • Development of a Project Management Plan and Stakeholder Engagement and Outreach Plan • Conducting a best practices review and inventory and assessment of existing freight sustainability-related conditions • Identifying needs and opportunities for improvement, including alternative fuels, employee access, and supply chain sustainability • Developing a fiscally constrained Short-Term Action Plan and a Long-Term Vision Project List • Preparing a Recommendations Final Report and Executive Summary
