The Preservation of Affordable Housing (POAH) is seeking bids for the 66 & 76 Route 6A Building Demolition Project located in Orleans, MA. The project involves the demolition of buildings at 66 & 76 Route 6A. Bidders must submit their bids in sealed envelopes by 2:00 PM on Monday, November 10, 2025. The estimated construction cost for this project is $2,000,000. • The project is subject to the provisions of Massachusetts General Laws, M.G.L., c.149, § 44A through 44L. • Bidders must inspect the existing conditions, and failure to do so will result in automatic rejection of the bid. • A prebid inspection conference will be held on Thursday, October 16, 2025, at 11:00 AM. • The successful bidder will be required to provide a 100% payment bond and a 100% performance bond. • The bid deposit must be in an amount not less than 5% of the bid amount. • The contractor must ensure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of race, color, age, religion, sex, or national origin.
