Description:
The State of Tennessee Department of General Services is seeking a qualified firm to provide comprehensive Laboratory Move Management Services for the relocation of a new 180,000‑sq‑ft public‑health laboratory in Nashville. The contractor will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing the move of all furniture, fixtures, equipment, samples, and supplies, while ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations and maintaining laboratory integrity. • Develop a master Move Management Schedule, risk‑mitigation plan, and quality‑control procedures. • Manage procurement, oversight, and performance of moving companies, specialty equipment vendors, and subcontractors. • Supervise disconnection, packaging, transport, re‑installation, and calibration of diverse laboratory assets (including BSL‑3, CLIA‑certified equipment). • Provide on‑site supervision, weekly status reporting, and rapid communication of schedule changes. • Ensure all work complies with Tennessee Code, Title VI, ADA, CLIA, and other applicable statutes. • Deliver final documentation, punch‑list completion, and contract close‑out within the 12‑month contract period (with one optional 12‑month renewal).
