The Opportunities for Ohioans with Disabilities Agency (OOD) is requesting quotes for OOD Captioning Services. The goal is to ensure that communication with people with disabilities is equally effective as communication with people without disabilities. The Americans with Disability Act (ADA) requires that Title II entities, State and local governments, communicate effectively with people who have communication disabilities. OOD is seeking vendors to supply on-site and/or remote captioning services in all eighty-eight (88) Ohio counties. Respondents must provide an hourly rate for on-site services in at least one Ohio county. • The services are requested to be rendered in person or remotely during typical employee working hours. • The respondent must be able to provide services utilizing OOD-approved videoconference software. • The respondent shall identify a single point of contact and ensure all assigned captionists have the skill and knowledge to complete the work. • The respondent must maintain the standards of the Code of Ethics of the National Court Reporters Association (NCRA). • The respondent must have at least two years of business experience providing captioning services.
