Description:
The National Defense Science and Engineering Graduate (NDSEG) Fellowship Program aims to attract and recruit highly qualified applicants for fellowships in various science and engineering disciplines. The contractor will be responsible for managing the selection process, including attracting and recruiting selection panel experts, evaluating applicants, and managing the placement of fellows. The contractor will also be responsible for managing the DoD mentoring program, administering payments of stipends and academic expenses, and maintaining a database of applicant and fellow information. The contractor must demonstrate experience in managing a range of up to 200 new fellowships per year and ability to manage up to 400 fellows in a 4-year program. Some key responsibilities of the contractor include: • Attracting and recruiting highly qualified applicants • Managing the selection process, including evaluating applicants and managing the placement of fellows • Administering payments of stipends and academic expenses • Maintaining a database of applicant and fellow information • Managing the DoD mentoring program • Coordinating travel for fellows • Providing quarterly financial reports and quarterly reports on the status of applications, placements, progress, interactions, and payments
