Description:
The Charlton County Commission is requesting qualifications and proposals for selection of an Engineering Firm to provide pre- and post-award services for various community and economic development projects. The projects include public infrastructure improvements such as street paving and drainage. The selected engineer will be responsible for preparing preliminary engineering reports, planning, design, cost estimating, bidding, contracting, construction oversight, quality control, and project closeout. The engineer will also need to certify to obtaining and maintaining all Build America Buy America (BABA) documentation during construction. • The engineer will need to have experience with community and economic development projects. • The engineer will need to have knowledge of community development block grant (CDBG) projects. • The engineer will need to be able to supply all major disciplines necessary to perform the work. • The engineer will need to have staff expertise in engineering services. • The engineer will need to be cost competitive.
