The County of Sacramento is seeking a proposer to collect, recycle, and report on covered electronic waste (CEW), uncovered waste electronic devices (UWED), recyclable electric equipment materials (REEM), and universal waste (UWASTE). The selected proposer will be required to execute an agreement with the County and provide services for a term of approximately five years, with three one-year mutually agreeable renewals. The proposer will be responsible for collecting materials from County facilities, transporting them to their processing facility, and providing monthly reports on the materials processed. The County requires that the proposer obtain all necessary permits and comply with all applicable laws and regulations. • The proposer must have experience in collecting and recycling electronic waste. • The proposer must have a processing facility that can handle the types and quantities of materials specified in the RFP. • The proposer must be able to provide transportation for the materials from the County facilities to their processing facility. • The proposer must be able to provide monthly reports on the materials processed. • The proposer must be able to comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including those related to environmental protection and worker safety.
