The Department of Property and Procurement is seeking bids for the renovation of an ADA compliant classroom at the Joseph Gomez Elementary School. The project includes removing and replacing window operators, installing new window screens, sanding and painting interior walls, and upgrading electrical and plumbing systems. The contractor will be required to provide all labor, supervision, tools, equipment, and materials to execute the work. The project must be completed within 150 days of the contract signing and Notice to Proceed. • The contractor must provide a bid bond based on 5% of the bid amount. • The contractor must provide a 100% performance and payment bond for execution of the contract. • The contractor must provide proof of liability insurance and workers' compensation insurance. • The contractor must comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including those related to apprenticeship programs and veteran preference.
