The purpose of this solicitation is to replace stainless-steel hydraulic piping at the Vertical Lift Gate at Eisenhower Lock. The contractor will be required to provide services to replace the piping and complete all work within 60 calendar days after receiving the notice to proceed. The contractor will also be required to access the site in advance of the winter shutdown to verify existing conditions and document as-built dimensions prior to system isolation and removal of the Vertical Lift Gate from service. • The contract is a firm fixed price contract under FAR Part 12 and FAR Part 13, subject to the availability of funds. • The contractor must be registered in SAM.gov and have an active registration at the time of solicitation closing. • The NAICS Code for this solicitation is 238220, Plumbing, Heating, and Air Conditioning Contractors. • The solicitation is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ) and will result in the award of a firm fixed price contract.
