The City of Rochester Hills is seeking a professional, experienced, and qualified newspaper company to serve as the Official City Newspaper for a three-year term, with the option to renew for an additional two years. The selected newspaper will be responsible for publishing legal notices and other notices for public notification. The city requires the newspaper to have a bona fide list of paying subscribers, be published at least weekly, and have a minimum of 25% news and editorial content. The proposal should include information about the newspaper's circulation, experience, and qualifications, as well as a cost proposal and any other relevant details. • The newspaper should have a list of paying subscribers or be published at not less than weekly intervals in the same community without interruption for at least 2 years. • The newspaper should have been published and of general circulation at not less than weekly intervals without interruption for at least 1 year in the county, township, city, village, or district where the notice is required to be published. • The newspaper should annually average at least 25% news and editorial content per issue. • The newspaper should be able to provide an Affidavit/Certification of Publication on a per-notice, per-insertion basis. • The newspaper should be able to ensure the accuracy of all legal notices and republish them at no extra cost to the city if they are published incorrectly.
