The Department of Parks and Recreation is seeking bids for bus transportation services for the Santa Barbara Junior Lifeguard program participants. The contractor will provide daily, weekday bus transportation service between six separate designated pick-up/drop-off locations and the program site, Refugio State Beach, from June 15, 2026, to August 31, 2026. The contract requires a commercial bus with a passenger endorsement license. The contractor must comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and specifications. • The contract duration is approximately 80 days, with services not required on state and federal holidays. • The program runs daily, Monday through Friday, from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm. • The contractor must provide transportation to field trip locations on five service days. • The contract has a 5% small business preference and a DVBE incentive program. • The contractor must comply with the terms and conditions of the contract, including the scope of work, specifications, and payment provisions.
