The Indian Health Service (IHS) is seeking to identify Indian Small Business Economic Enterprises (ISBEEs) or Indian Economic Enterprises (IEE) capable of performing annual on-site preventative maintenance services for optometry ancillary testing equipment at the Crow Service Unit (CSU) in Montana. The selected contractor will be required to provide maintenance services, including visual inspections, test and calibration, and repair of equipment. The contractor will also be required to provide remote support and on-site troubleshooting. The contractor must have experience working with ophthalmic instruments and must be certified and trained to service equipment from leading manufacturers. Key responsibilities of the contractor will include: • Performing annual preventative maintenance services on optometry equipment • Providing remote support and on-site troubleshooting • Maintaining accurate records of maintenance and repair activities • Ensuring that all work is performed in accordance with manufacturer specifications and industry standards • Providing loaner equipment services as needed • Installing safety inspection stickers on equipment • Documenting all maintenance and repair activities in a service report.
