The United States Navy is soliciting proposals for the procurement of Hex Nuts. The Hex Nuts must be in accordance with Ingersoll Rand drawings 11312-F-18 and PL-11312-F-18 item 179B. The unit of issue is each, and the contractor is required to provide one additional fastener for each uniquely identified heat/lot of material in each shipment. The contractor must maintain complete traceability of the material and provide certification data for the material. The certification data must include the class, form, condition, grade, type, finish, and/or composition of the material supplied. Key aspects of the job include: • Providing Hex Nuts that meet the specified requirements • Maintaining complete traceability of the material • Providing certification data for the material • Ensuring that the material is properly marked and identified • Complying with all applicable specifications and standards • Providing a certificate of compliance that certifies that the items furnished under the contract comply with the requirements of the procurement document.
