Description:
The City of Long Beach is seeking a predictive maintenance telematics and analytics platform to reduce downtime, improve reliability, and optimize maintenance operations for its fleet. The platform should use real-time vehicle data, artificial intelligence, and predictive modeling to identify early signs of problems and recommend maintenance actions. The contract will be for a period of two years with the option to renew for three additional one-year periods. • The platform should integrate with the City's existing telematics hardware and Fleet Management Information System (FMIS). • The vendor should provide an open, standards-based Application Programming Interface (API) for data exchange. • The platform should include dashboards, mobile access, automated scheduling tools, and reporting features. • The vendor should provide training, onboarding, and ongoing support. • The City is looking for a vendor with experience in delivering predictive maintenance, telematics analytics, or AI-driven fleet management solutions for public sector, utility, transportation, or similarly complex fleet environments.

Budget Estimate (AI):

$500,000 – $2,000,000

Based on the scope of work, the contract term, and the industry standards, the estimated budget for this project could be in the range of $500,000 to $2,000,000. This estimate is based on the assumption that the vendor will provide a comprehensive predictive maintenance telematics and analytics platform, including hardware, software, and services, and that the City will require ongoing support and maintenance throughout the contract term. Factors that may influence the likely payment range include the complexity of the platform, the number of vehicles and equipment to be monitored, and the level of customization required.
