The City of Springfield is seeking proposals from qualified firms/providers to provide professional services for assistance in developing a master plan for Hazelwood Cemetery located at 1642 E. Seminole in Springfield, Missouri. The master plan will focus on the following areas: spatial design, financial planning, and development of available cemetery space remaining according to industry standards and best practices; ensuring compliance with all regulations (legislation, statutes, codes) relating to municipal cemetery operations and administration for the City’s only current cemetery and develop administrative spaces and improvements to the grounds. This Master Plan presents an extraordinary opportunity for the selected firm to define what it means to be a municipal cemetery in the 21st century.
