The City of Rock Hill, South Carolina, is seeking proposals from qualified companies to provide the City with the installation, removal, and support services for a holiday-season ice skating venue at Fountain Park in Rock Hill. The selected company will be responsible for providing a modular rink piping grid system, refrigeration plant, propylene glycol coolant, insulation, and vapor barriers, among other materials and equipment. The company will also be responsible for installing and removing the ice rink, as well as providing maintenance and support services during the skating season. • The ice rink will be open to the public from November 15 to January 19, with installation and removal windows scheduled for November 1-14 and January 20-31, respectively. • The City reserves the right to reject any proposal that does not meet the mandatory requirements, and the evaluation team may elect to interview one or more proposing companies before making an award. • The City will evaluate responses based on a weighted evaluation system, with criteria including experience and past projects, approach to project and capacity, price, and rink designs. • The selected company will be required to use the City of Rock Hill's standard agreement and must possess or obtain a City of Rock Hill Business License prior to execution of the final contract.
