Description:
The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) is seeking applications from previous Fiscal Year (FY) 2024 NIST Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) Phase I award recipients for Phase II of their projects. The goal of the SBIR program is to strengthen the role of innovative small business concerns in federally funded research or research and development. The program aims to stimulate technological innovation, use small businesses to meet federal research and development needs, and increase private sector commercialization of innovations derived from federal research and development. The application should concentrate on describing research that will significantly contribute to proving the feasibility of the proposed Phase II research and commercialization potential. The project performance period is 24 months, and the award is for up to $400,000.
