The County of Orange, New York, is seeking a qualified airport architectural and/or engineering consulting firm to provide services for the Orange County Airport. The selected firm will be responsible for providing a range of services, including preliminary design, bidding, construction, and project closeout for various airport development projects. The projects include runway and taxiway rehabilitation, hangar roof replacement, and land acquisitions. The firm will be expected to work closely with the County and the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) to ensure that all projects are completed in accordance with FAA regulations and guidelines. The County is looking for a firm with experience in providing airport planning services or architectural and/or engineering consulting services, particularly in the areas of aviation programs and FAA regulations. • The firm should have experience in providing services similar to those required for the projects identified in the RFQ. • The firm should have a strong understanding of FAA regulations and guidelines. • The firm should have experience in working with municipal airport clients. • The firm should have a proven track record of completing projects on time and within budget. • The firm should have a strong team of professionals with the necessary qualifications and experience to provide the required services.
