The National Institutes of Health (NIH) intends to award a sole source contract to Alliant Enterprises LLC for the purchase of two Philips Expression MR400 Patient Care Monitoring Systems. These systems are required by the Department of Perioperative Medicine at the NIH Clinical Center for patient monitoring in MRI environments. The current MRI-compatible monitors have exceeded their estimated service life and are experiencing increasing reliability issues.
