Description:
The City of Phoenix is seeking a qualified consultant team to provide engineering services for the North Gateway Advanced Water Purification Facility project. The project includes a preliminary study, design, construction administration, and inspection services, as well as program management. The facility will be designed to produce Class A+ non-potable reclaimed water and potable water. The scope of work includes a range of services, including design, construction administration, inspection, and program management. • The project will be funded in part by the U.S. Bureau of Reclamation. • The facility will be designed and constructed for up to eight million gallons per day. • The project will include a range of processes, including coarse screening, influent pumping, grit removal, primary treatment, secondary treatment, advanced water purification, and more. • The project will also include the potential for water and sewer infrastructure improvements offsite. • The City intends to engage the services of a construction team utilizing the construction manager at risk (CMAR) delivery method. • The project will be subject to all applicable federal regulations, policies, and procedures.
