Description:
The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking a contractor to perform an electrical study at the Bath and Canandaigua VA Medical Centers. The study will include maintenance, inspection, testing, and/or calibration of the Electrical Power Distribution System. The contractor will be required to provide a bid proposal, perform the work, and submit a written report. The contract will be for a firm fixed price and will have a duration of 45 days. The contractor must have experience in electrical contracting and must comply with all relevant laws and regulations. • The contractor must provide all necessary tools, equipment, and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to perform the work safely and effectively. • The contractor must have access to the latest versions of relevant references, including the National Electrical Code and the National Fire Protection Association standards. • The contractor must report any deficiencies or problems found during the study and provide recommendations for corrective actions. • The contractor must submit four hard copies and one electronic copy of the written report to the Contracting Officer and the Chief of Facilities Management/Engineering Service.
