The State of Montana, Department of Public Health and Human Services, is seeking information regarding the ability of organizations to provide 24/7 psychiatric technical assistance and crisis support services in the State of Montana. The goal is to establish a more robust continuum of care for people with developmental disabilities with complex and/or dual diagnosis support needs. Respondents are asked to provide information on their experience, services provided, staffing, and costs. The information gathered will be used to support individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities and behavioral health support needs. • The RFI is a result of Recommendation #3 of the Behavioral Health Systems for Future Generations (BHSFG) Commission Report. • The Department seeks information on existing infrastructure and organizations' abilities to provide comprehensive training and on-demand technical assistance. • Responses should include information on the organization's experience, services provided, staffing, and costs. • The Department is looking for innovative approaches and practical recommendations based on respondents' expertise and experience. • The RFI is not a solicitation for a contract, but rather a request for information to guide future decisions.
