The North Carolina Department of Transportation is seeking bids for the provision of Aluminum Box Culvert with Headwalls and Aluminum Structural Plate Pipe Arch with Headwalls. The project involves the replacement of existing structures in poor condition. The successful vendor will be required to fabricate and deliver the structures within 30 consecutive calendar days after receipt of the purchase order. The vendor will also be responsible for assembling the structures at the specified delivery locations. • The project requires the vendor to provide all necessary hardware, wale beams, caps, continuous flat gaskets, galvanized steel tieback rods with dead man anchor plates, anchors, lugs, inserts, adjustable turnbuckles, and all other materials necessary to complete the project. • The vendor must ensure that all structure materials and incidentals are designed and fabricated to meet or exceed AASHTO material requirements for Aluminum Box Culvert with Headwalls and Aluminum Structural Plate Pipe Arch and Headwalls. • The vendor will be required to submit detailed drawings and safety bracing plans for approval by the Central Bridge Maintenance Engineer and the Division Bridge Maintenance Engineer. • The vendor must comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and standards, including those related to environmental protection, safety, and labor.
