Description:
The Ontario International Airport Authority (OIAA) is soliciting proposals from qualified firms to design and build a comprehensive Public Address System (PAS) / Terminal Paging System (TPS) / Emergency Communication System (ECS) for its airport terminals. The new system should deliver reliable, high-fidelity, and intelligible audio for announcements related to flight status, emergency alerts, security procedures, and general communications. Key aspects of the project include: • Replacement of the existing AtlasIED system and transition to a Dante audio-based infrastructure • Design, installation, testing, commissioning, and training of the new system • Decommissioning of existing Cobranet-based infrastructure and replacement of up to 700 high-voltage speaker units • Deployment of a minimum of 80 IP-connected paging stations with interface redundancy and zone control • Real-time ambient noise sensing and Sound Pressure Level (SPL) adjustment to maintain clear audio • Integration with OIAA’s Amadeus Multi-Use Flight Information Displays (MUFIDs) and visual messaging systems The selected vendor will be required to provide a turnkey solution, including all necessary equipment, labor, and services to complete the project.
