The Denver Regional Council of Governments (DRCOG) is seeking proposals from individuals, firms, and teams with experience in designing and implementing community engagement programs. The selected contractor will work with DRCOG staff to design and implement a community engagement program for the Building Decarbonization DRCOG project, which aims to transition buildings in the Denver region away from fossil fuel technologies and replace them with efficient, electric counterparts. The program includes rebates and incentives, energy advising, free home decarbonization for low-income communities, a building policy collaborative, and workforce development. The contractor will be responsible for developing a project timeline, managing the project within schedule and budget, and providing progress reports. Key aspects of the project include: • Community engagement and outreach • Program design and implementation • Project management and timeline development • Progress reporting and evaluation • Compliance with federal and state requirements, including nondiscrimination provisions and accessibility standards • Cooperation with DRCOG staff and existing working groups The contractor will be selected based on their experience and capability, management qualifications, cost information, references, and ability to comply with DRCOG's contract and insurance requirements.
