The Town of Vienna is soliciting competitive bids from qualified contractors to provide collection, hauling, and processing of food and organic waste, as well as the cleaning of storage bins. The service will require collection of large volumes of food waste at a single drop-off site with multiple 64-gallon bins collected on a weekly basis. The contractor will be responsible for providing 64-gallon bin carts, collecting food and organic waste, transporting it to an approved processing facility, and cleaning the bins. The contractor will also be required to provide "How-To" signage and information, invoice the town monthly, and report performance metrics. • The contract will cover an initial period from the date of award and end on June 30, 2026, with the option to renew for an additional four years. • The town reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities. • The contractor will be required to provide insurance, including workers' compensation, comprehensive general liability, and automobile liability. • The contractor will be responsible for complying with all applicable laws, ordinances, and regulations.
