The Middlesex County Department of Public Safety and Health, Office of Adult Correction and Youth Services is seeking bids for the furnishing and delivery of uniforms and related items. The contract will be for a firm fixed price, with prices firm, FOB destination. The successful bidder will be required to supply all pedigree information of any employee or subcontracted vendor who is designated to do work within the facilities, and a security clearance will be conducted by the applicable law enforcement agency. The bidder must also comply with all laws relating to the sale of and purchase by county governments and municipal corporations. • The contract includes the supply of various uniform items, such as working shirts, trousers, class A shirts, and jackets. • The contractor must provide a price certification signature form, which certifies that the prices entered on the bid sheet are correct. • The contractor must also provide a statement of ownership, non-collusion affidavit, and other documentation as required. • The contract will be subject to the availability and appropriation of sufficient funds annually. • The county reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive identified irregularities and technicalities, and to award in whole or in part to the lowest responsible bidder.
