The Naval Supply Systems Command (NAVSUP) Fleet Logistics Center (FLC) Norfolk Contracting Department intends to award a sole source, Firm Fixed Price, Indefinite-Delivery, Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ) requirement type contract to Klein Marine Systems for repair and maintenance support for K5900 side scan systems in support of Naval Oceanographic Office (NAVOCEANO). The contract will have a five-year ordering period. The services required include evaluation and repair of the side scan sonar equipment, provision of new replacement components, and testing. • The contract is for the repair and maintenance of ten K5900 Klein Marine Systems side scan systems. • The systems are used to collect physical oceanographic data and create detailed maps of the ocean bottom. • The contractor will provide full system and single component evaluations on equipment. • The contractor will provide new replacement components for the Klein Marine Systems K5900 tow fish and related topside equipment. • The contract has a size standard of 1,350 employees, and Klein Marine Systems qualifies as a small business.
