Description:
The International Boundary and Water Commission is seeking a contractor to provide and install biosolids electro-osmosis dryer(s) and/or low temperature dryer(s) and automated screw press(es) at the Nogales International Wastewater Treatment Plant. The contractor will be responsible for providing all labor, materials, equipment, and services necessary to perform the work. The project includes the design and construction of an enclosure and connections for the equipment. The contractor must also provide training to USIBWC staff on the operation and maintenance of the new equipment. Key considerations for this project include: • Meeting the maximum footprint of 150’ X 50’ • Automated operation for a minimum of 16 hours per day, 7 days a week • Achieving a minimum of 80% dry solid content • Meeting all Federal, state, and local regulations regarding odors and vectors • Interfacing with the current NIWTP SCADA system The project is expected to last 540 calendar days, and the contractor will be required to provide progress reports and schedule updates throughout the project.
