The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is seeking vendors to provide support services for the Flight Attendant Drug and Alcohol Program (FADAP). The program aims to provide a stigma-free means for aviation professionals to access addiction resources and educational materials. The contractor will be responsible for maintaining the necessary infrastructure of an outreach program, preparing and distributing education and training materials, conducting training seminars, and providing administrative support for the project. The contractor will also be required to develop a plan to reach all currently active and employed flight attendants, regardless of affiliation or labor union, and to establish groups of flight attendants willing to be sponsors and points of contact for the initiation of an intervention. Some key requirements of the contract include: • Conducting a minimum of one educational seminar per year within the continental U.S. • Preparing and distributing education and training materials • Conducting training seminars for flight attendants and airline management on peer identification and intervention • Providing reports based on research and data collected • Maintaining a FADAP tracking database and website • Developing a comprehensive and strategic outreach plan • Actively engaging with the Advisory Board and implementing its guidance • Providing administrative support to the FADAP initiative and a qualified Program Manager to oversee the execution of FADAP
