The County of Rockland is seeking a contractor to provide a five-year maintenance plan for two emergency generators at the new Highway Facility in Chestnut Ridge, NY. The generators are Cummins 500kW Diesel Model 500DFEK. The contract will include annual full service, semi-annual inspections, and bi-annual battery replacements. The contractor must have experience in performing preventive maintenance, service, and repairs to similar generators. The contract will be for a period of five years, with the option for renewal. Key responsibilities will include: • Performing annual full service, including inspection and maintenance of the generators • Performing semi-annual inspections of the generators • Replacing batteries bi-annually • Providing a certificate of insurance with the County of Rockland listed as an additional insured • Complying with all applicable laws and regulations, including those related to worker's compensation and disability insurance. The County of Rockland reserves the right to reject any and all proposals and to accept any proposal or proposals as submitted, or as modified, which in the opinion of the County will be in the best interests of the County.
