Description:
The City of Seattle's Equitable Development Initiative (EDI) is seeking proposals from community-based organizations for capital and capacity building projects that address displacement pressure and opportunity gaps in high-risk displacement neighborhoods. The proposed work should meaningfully address displacement pressure or opportunity gaps in the community, and the project should be likely to be successfully implemented. The City will evaluate proposals based on the EDI Equity Drivers, depth of relationship to the community, site control readiness, and project scope. • The total funding available for existing grantee projects is $14 million. • The funding is split across four different buckets, each with its own eligibility criteria. • Applicants must be current EDI grantees seeking funding for previously funded projects and applying for capital funding. • Grantees may also request additional capacity building funds up to $75,000 for two years. • The proposal must demonstrate work that primarily serves City of Seattle residents located within communities that face high risk of displacement. • The applicant must be in good standing with any other open City of Seattle contracts, grants, and/or loans. • The project must address at least three of the Equity Drivers from the Implementation Plan.

Budget Estimate (AI):

$100,000 – $500,000

The total funding available for existing grantee projects is $14 million, and grantees may request up to $75,000 for capacity building funds. Based on this information, the budget estimation for this opportunity could be between $100,000 to $500,000, considering the funding for capital projects and capacity building. The factors that may influence the likely payment range include the scope of the project, the number of applicants, and the City's evaluation of the proposals.
