Description:
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (POH) is seeking information from potential contractors to provide on-demand emergency aeromedical evacuation services from Kwajalein Atoll, Republic of the Marshall Islands, to Oahu, Hawaii. The contractor will be required to provide a fixed-wing, multi-engine pressurized aircraft capable of transporting one litter patient and one non-medical attendant. The services will include bedside-to-bedside transport, medical monitoring, and intervention during the flight. The contractor will also be responsible for maintaining a 24/7/365 state of readiness, providing a dedicated operations center, and ensuring that all medical and aviation licenses and certifications are current. Some key points to consider: * The contractor must provide a fixed-wing, multi-engine pressurized aircraft with a range sufficient for non-stop or limited-stop transport between Kwajalein and Oahu. * The aircraft must be configured for at least one litter patient and one ambulatory non-medical attendant. * The contractor must provide medical equipment for Advanced Life Support (ALS) and Critical Care Transport (CCT). * The contractor's medical crew must include a minimum of two medical providers per mission, with compositions of either a nurse and a paramedic or a physician and a nurse/paramedic. * The contractor must maintain a 24/7/365 operations center and ensure that all staff are current on AT/OPSEC/HIPAA training.

Budget Estimate (AI):

$5,000,000 – $20,000,000

The budget for this opportunity is not explicitly stated in the document. However, considering the scope of work and the requirements for the contractor, it is likely that the budget will be in the range of $5 million to $20 million per year, depending on the number of missions and the level of service required. The contractor will be responsible for providing a dedicated aircraft, medical crew, and operations center, which will likely require significant investment. Additionally, the contractor will need to ensure that all staff are trained and certified, and that all equipment and licenses are up to date, which will also incur costs. Factors that may influence the likely payment range include the number of missions required, the level of service needed, the cost of fuel and maintenance for the aircraft, and the cost of personnel and training.
