The County of Goochland is seeking a qualified Owner's Representative to act as their professional advisor and representative in connection with the planning, procurement, design, and construction of a new approximately 75,000 square foot courthouse facility. The selected firm will provide independent, objective guidance and oversight to protect the County's interests throughout all phases of the project. The key responsibilities of the Owner's Representative will include: • Providing professional advice and guidance to the County throughout the project • Overseeing the design and construction process to ensure the project is completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards • Coordinating and communicating with the County, architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders • Identifying and mitigating potential risks and issues that may impact the project • Ensuring compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and County policies The ideal candidate will have experience in managing large-scale construction projects, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively with a variety of stakeholders.
