The City of Los Angeles, Bureau of Engineering (BOE), Street Improvement Division (SID) is seeking a consultant to provide construction management support and related services to assist the BOE in construction delivery of multiple street improvement projects. The scope of services includes construction management, scheduling, and cost estimating. The consultant will be required to provide a team that can meet the requirements of this task order, including a construction manager with at least 10 years of experience in street construction. The payment method will be based on cost reimbursement or a combination of cost reimbursement and lump sum. • The consultant will be responsible for managing construction by City forces and/or private General Contractors. • The consultant will be required to oversee on-site and day-to-day construction activities and coordination with City forces and/or General Contractor. • The consultant will be required to provide and maintain construction document control using BOE systems and procedures. • The consultant will be required to conduct and issue minutes for weekly on-site construction job meetings. • The consultant will be required to resolve construction and/or permitting issues and other jurisdictional requirements with regulatory agencies as required.
