Description:
The Joint Project Manager for Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear Protection (JPM CBRN P) is seeking information on hydrogen peroxide generators to support the Service Equipment Decontamination System (SEDS). The SEDS program aims to provide a modular system capability for decontamination operations on the battlefield, reducing residual Chemical/Biological (CB) contamination from critical equipment. The hydrogen peroxide generator should be capable of producing more than 30% hydrogen peroxide (aqueous) and have a minimum production rate of 150 mL/hour. It should also be compatible with currently fielded batteries and provide necessary cable connections with ground power systems. • The generator should be capable of operating in temperatures ranging from 32°F/0°C to 130°F/54°C. • The generator should be compatible with military and commercial mobile electric power. • The generator should have a self-powered engine with a JP5/JP8 compatible fuel pump if applicable. • The generator should have a maximum concentration and range of generated aqueous hydrogen peroxide. • The generator should have consumables needed, such as potable water. • The generator should have a production rate and reliability. • The generator should have maintenance and transportation and storage limitations. • The generator should have a shelf life of components. • The generator should have a total weight and cubic size of the proposed item's shipping and operating configuration. • The generator should have dimensions of the system in operational configuration. • The generator should have an equipment list and user manual/instructions. • The generator should have any specialized tools required to operate or set-up the system. • The generator should have a description of power requirements. • The generator should have a number of personnel required to set up and operate. • The generator should have operating temperatures and/or environmental restrictions. • The generator should have shipping restrictions for the generator and generator consumables. • The generator should have clean-up and disposal processes for the system. • The generator should have an estimated manufacturer production capability, including maximum and minimum production rates by month. • The generator should have identification if the system is considered Commercial Off the Shelf (COTS), or currently being used by commercial industry and/or Government, with names and/or examples of users. • The generator should have any data rights assertions/anticipated assertions. • The generator should have any factors that will significantly impact costs. • The generator should have any known significant lead times for systems/materials.

Budget Estimate (AI):

$500,000 – $5,000,000

The budget for this opportunity is difficult to estimate because the document does not specify a particular contract value or payment amount. However, based on the information provided, it appears that the development of a hydrogen peroxide generator could be a significant project, potentially worth hundreds of thousands or even millions of dollars. The estimated budget could be influenced by factors such as the complexity of the generator, the production rate, and the compatibility with military and commercial mobile electric power. Additionally, the budget could be affected by the number of units produced and the duration of the contract. A rough estimate for the budget could be between $500,000 and $5,000,000.
