The Hershel "Woody" Williams VAMC is seeking a sole source award to Eaton Corporation for a 1-year UPS battery replacement service contract. The contract requires the replacement of 8 Uninterruptable Power Source (UPS) units with new batteries, removal and disposal of old batteries, and installation of new batteries. The vendor will also provide labor, materials, equipment, tools, and supervision necessary to complete the work. The scope of work includes tasks such as providing new Powerware 9390 and 93PM batteries, removal and disposal of old batteries, installation of new batteries, and visually inspecting conditions and appearance of various components. • The contract is for a 1-year period. • The vendor will provide all labor, materials, equipment, tools, and supervision necessary to complete the work. • The scope of work includes replacement of UPS units, removal and disposal of old batteries, and installation of new batteries. • The vendor will provide new Powerware 9390 and 93PM batteries. • The vendor will visually inspect conditions and appearance of various components. • The vendor will provide a verbal report summarizing the work performed and a Field Activity Report within 5 business days.
