The City of Charleston is seeking a vendor to provide grounds maintenance services for the Clements Ferry Road Gateway area. The services include grass cutting, tree and shrub pruning, edging, trash and debris collection, and other miscellaneous services. The contractor will be responsible for furnishing all labor, supervision, equipment, and materials necessary to perform the services. The contract will be for a period of one year, with the option to extend for up to four additional years. • The contractor must provide a detailed plan for performing the services, including the frequency of visits and the equipment and materials to be used. • The contractor must have experience in providing similar services and must be able to demonstrate a good understanding of the requirements of the contract. • The contractor must be able to provide references from previous clients and must be able to demonstrate a good reputation in the industry. • The contractor must be able to comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including those related to employment, health and safety, and environmental protection. • The contractor must be able to provide proof of insurance and must be able to demonstrate financial stability.
