The St. Petersburg College is seeking multiple construction management firms to provide support for the construction of college projects. The construction management services will include preconstruction services, coordination with the design team, subcontractor bidding, development of the Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP), determining owner direct purchases, scheduling and coordination with SPC staff, contracting with all subcontractors, coordinating scheduling of the work among subcontractors and utility providers, supervision of the work, quality control, budget management, post-construction services, commissioning support, and working closely with the architect of record/design team and the College on the various projects. • The contract will be for a duration of 3 years with two optional one-year extensions. • The construction management firms will be selected based on their qualifications and experience. • The college will provide permitting, building code, and fire inspection support services. • The construction management firms will be required to have a contractor's license, employee background checks, and insurance. • The bidding process will be electronic, and the bid documents will include a main proposal and financials.
