Description of Goods or Services to Be Bid: Project work is primarily the rehabilitation of Hunter South Substation (HSS), and replacement of components at Hunter North Substation (HNS) and Circuit Breaker House 563 (CBH-563). Work at HSS includes the decommissioning, removal, disposal, upgrade, and/or replacement of existing traction power equipment, including high-tension switchgear, power transformer, rectifier, DC breaker lineup, and both high-tension and low-tension Con Edison services. Work at HNS includes decommissioning, removal, disposal, upgrade, and replacement of high-tension switchgear. Work at CBH-563 includes the decommissioning and replacement of DC breakers. Construction and installation of new property line boxes, ducts, removal and replacement of positive and negative cabling, as well as various repairs of structural and architectural elements will also be performed. Environmental abatement (including asbestos) is also part of this Project. This is an A+B Contract.
