The United States Transportation Command (USTRANSCOM) is seeking sources to provide transportation services for the Department of Defense (DOD), including the movement of DOD freight traffic, Homeland Security, and other subsets. The services will support the U.S Navy Advanced Traceability and Control (ATAC) Program, which tracks, traces, packs, reports, and moves high-dollar Depot Level Repairable (DLR) product lines. The contractor will be responsible for the consolidated movement of material, express service for Repair and Return (R&R) shipments, and process improvements to focus on distribution-related functions and their effects on the total Supply Chain. • The contractor will provide transportation services to move Freight All Kinds (FAK) repairable parts to all forty-eight contiguous states, Hawaii, Alaska, and Canada. • The transportation services will include the consolidated movement of Not Ready For Issue (NRFI) material, Redistribution Order (RDO) material, Ready For Issue (RFI) material, and Carcass Express/Routine material. • The contractor will also provide express service for Repair and Return (R&R) shipments and process improvements to focus on distribution-related functions and their effects on the total Supply Chain. • The contractor will perform the freight transportation services required under this contract from the Shipper defined point of origins to specified destinations within CONUS, Hawaii, Alaska, and Canada.
