The City of Palo Alto is seeking a graphic design and outreach consultant to develop integrated outreach strategies and materials in support of its Watershed Protection Program. The consultant will assist the City in developing outreach materials, including traditional and social media, to educate residents, businesses, and industry about stormwater pollution prevention, sea level rise, and other water-related issues. The consultant will also provide graphic design services, including the creation of utility bill inserts, print and digital ads, factsheets, and other materials. The City is looking for a consultant who can develop effective outreach strategies and materials to reduce the quantity of pollutants entering the sewer and storm drain systems. Key aspects of the project include: • Developing an annual outreach plan with the City's contract manager • Creating traditional outreach materials, such as utility bill inserts and print ads • Providing graphic design services, including the creation of customized illustrations and artwork • Coordinating with outside printers and in-house City copying services • Assisting with website content development and maintenance • Optional tasks, including media relations and language translations
