The Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) Office of the Chief Procurement Officer (OCPO) on behalf of the Office of Supply Management, intends to award a sole-source, firm-fixed-price contract to procure Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) spare parts for the Buhler 3 Roll Ink Mill located at the Western Currency Facility (WCF). These spare parts required are proprietary and exclusively available from Buhler, Inc, the intended contractor. This sole-source contract will be awarded in accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b), utilizing a Justification and Approval. The Office of Supply Management aims to acquire the following spare parts: 1. Safety Valve, Buhler P/N SDT -84166-810. 2. Rotary Drive, Hydraulic, Buhler P/N SDV -82059-810 3. Spur Gear Right Z=30 1, Buhler P/N SFL -20095-220. 4. Spur Gear Left Z=102, Buhler P/N 4 SFL -20095-430. 5. V-belt Pulley D706 1, Buhler 6. Spur Gear Right Z=26 1, Buhler P/N SFL -20095-500 A determination not to compete this requirement is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Any cost associated with the preparation and submission of data or information or any other costs incurred in responding to this notice is the sole responsibility of the respondent and will not be reimbursed by the Government.
