Budget Estimate (AI):

$702,000 – $2,100,000

The budget for this contract can be estimated based on the scope of work, which includes the acquisition, warehousing, handling, and distribution of fresh milk products to approximately 1,300 NYCDOE public schools citywide. Assuming an average cost of $1.50 per half-pint of milk, and an average daily consumption of 2 half-pints per student, the total daily cost would be approximately $3,900. With 180 school days per year, the total annual cost would be approximately $702,000. Considering the contract may last for multiple years, the total budget could range from $702,000 to $2.1 million per year, depending on the contract duration and the number of aggregate classes awarded.
