The California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection (CAL FIRE) is seeking a contractor to repair and test the fire protection sprinkler system at CAL FIRE Station 51. The contractor will be responsible for providing all materials, labor, equipment, tools, permits, taxes, transportation, and fees to complete the work. The project includes draining the old antifreeze, installing a new hydrotested nitrogen tank and regulator, adding a new fill valve, flushing the system, and replacing sprinkler heads. The contractor must comply with National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) 13 and NFPA 25. • The contractor must be a California Certified Small Business. • The contractor must provide a rate sheet, bid/bidder certification sheet, Darfur Contracting Act form, payee data information form, contractor certification clauses form, and non-collusion for public works declaration. • The contractor must comply with prevailing wage requirements and submit certified payrolls. • The contractor must attend a mandatory site walk-through on November 20, 2025. • The contractor must submit questions by November 24, 2025, at 5:00 p.m. • The contractor must submit their bid by December 04, 2025, at 5:00 p.m.
