The City of Rome is seeking proposals from qualified consulting firms to provide services to develop a redevelopment feasibility analysis for an existing vacant parcel located within the Downtown Rome Brownfield Opportunity Area (BOA). The intent of the project is to assess and evaluate redevelopment options for the parcel that leverage existing community economic momentum and which align with the spirit and intent of the site options within the BOA. The project will also include a developer RFP attraction strategy and proposal. Key tasks include site assessment, analysis of reuse options, community engagement, draft and final site redevelopment feasibility analysis, environmental quality review, and draft and final RFP for redevelopment services. • The selected consultant will conduct site reconnaissance visits, facilitate and attend public engagement sessions, create a Site Redevelopment Feasibility Analysis and an RFP for redevelopment services for the site. • The project has a total budget of $125,000 and an MWBE utilization goal of 30%. • The project schedule includes RFP issuance on May 20, 2025, RFP due date on June 12, 2025, consultant selection on June 26, 2025, notice to proceed on July 1, 2025, and final products due on November 30, 2025.
