The Department of Youth and Community Development (DYCD) is seeking proposals for the provision of Comprehensive After School System of New York City (COMPASS) programs in public schools. The programs will provide high-quality, no-cost after-school care, school holiday programming, and summer services to elementary and middle school students. The goal of the program is to support working families and help students thrive academically and socially. The contract will be for a period of 72 months, starting on August 1, 2026, and ending on June 30, 2032. • The program will serve students in Kindergarten through 8th grade. • The program will provide a range of activities, including academic support, arts and culture, sports and fitness, and life skills. • The program will be located in New York City public schools and charter schools housed in NYCPS buildings. • The program will serve 35%-45% of the total school population. • The contractor will be responsible for providing all necessary staff, equipment, and materials. • The contractor will be required to participate in pre-proposal conferences and submit questions in writing. • The contractor will be evaluated based on their experience, qualifications, and proposal.
