The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is seeking to purchase AB Sciex ZenoTOF 7600+ and 4500 QTrap liquid chromatographs-tandem mass spectrometers (LC-MS/MS) systems. The FDA's Division of Applied Regulatory Science (DARS) currently utilizes five LC-MS/MS instruments from AB Sciex and is looking to replace an outdated high-resolution mass spectrometer system and expand its analytical capabilities. The new systems must be compatible with the FDA's network security and integrate with the existing Mass Spectrometer System. Key features and requirements of the systems include: • TwinSpray TurboV Source and Turbo IonSpray Probe • Compatibility with existing Mass Spectrometer System (AB Sciex 4500 QTRAP) • Integration with FDA network security and Watson Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) • OEM installation and training • Trade-in of instrument Waters Xevo TQ-XS s/n WBA0396 and accompanying LCs The contract will be a firm-fixed price contract, and the award will be made to the lowest priced technically acceptable quote.
