The project involves replacing a toilet at the Herman Gulch Trailhead in the Arapaho & Roosevelt National Forests & Pawnee National Grassland. The work includes transporting and installing a precast concrete toilet, demolishing the existing abandoned concrete pad and vault, and modifying the existing vault hole to accommodate the new toilet. The primary objective is to provide quality facilities that are attractive, functional, safe, and economical to operate and maintain, and which comply with applicable codes, standards, and principles of sustainability and accessibility standards. * The project is located near I-70, approximately 55 miles west of Denver, Colorado. * The scope of work includes quality control, clearing and grubbing, demolishing the existing abandoned concrete pad and vault, hauling of existing toilet vault and all associated features off-site to a state-approved landfill, new structure excavation, bedding and compaction, backfilling, site grading, transporting and installing a double vault toilet, and supplying and installation of concrete bollards. * The finished product must be in compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). * The anticipated magnitude for this project is between $100,000 and $250,000.
